Delete Your Account

SelfTape Studio is owned and operated by Filetrack Inc. You can delete your account and the data we hold for it at any time. This page explains how to do it and exactly what is removed.
1. Delete from within the app
This is the fastest method and works the same on iOS and Android.
- Open SelfTape Studio and sign in.
- Tap the account icon (the person in the top-right corner).
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account and its server-side data are deleted right away and you are signed out.
2. Delete by email
If you cannot access the app, email support@selftapestudio.net from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm ownership of the address and complete the deletion within 30 days — usually much sooner.
3. What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following from our servers:
- Your account record and sign-in email address;
- Your import and credit history, including any remaining credits;
- Your subscription record as held on our servers;
- Any pending or unused sign-in codes.
4. What is not affected
- Videos and sides saved on your device. Self-tapes you record and the sides you import are stored locally on your device, not on our servers. Deleting your account does not remove them; you can delete those separately on your device.
- App Store and Google Play subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription billed by Apple or Google. To stop future charges, cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings before or after deleting your account.
5. Data we may retain
We may keep a limited amount of information where the law requires it — for example transaction records needed for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, including records of payments processed by Apple or Google. Any such data is retained only for as long as required and is not used to re-identify you for any other purpose.
